The Mighty Bard release Illusion, the second single from forthcoming album Beyond The Gate

Following the July release of Magician, The Mighty Bard’s first new music for eight years, the British Prog Rock group have today released a brand new single: Illusion.
Illusion is taken from the band’s upcoming album, Beyond the Gate, which will be launched independently by the band in late 2022.
Featuring founder band members Dave Clarke on Guitars and Neil Cockle, formerly of Silmarillion, on keyboards, alongside Benj on vocals, Mark Cadman on bass, Mark Parker on violin and Tom Mear on Drums, Illusion can be downloaded for free from www.tmbmusicshop.com and is also available on all streaming services.
Guitarist and founder member, Dave Clarke, says: “We strive for an eclectic mix of music on our albums and our fans can rest assured that we will deliver that on Beyond The Gate. Illusion is a departure for us in some ways: it features all the Mighty Bard trademarks - layered keyboards, lush guitars and beautiful vocal harmonies - but at just shy of four minutes, it’s got to be the shortest song we have written so far!”

Ahead of Beyond The Gate being produced in September and released in December, rough mixes of all tracks are available to any press who want a sneak peak of the new album – simply get in touch!
